La Fonica Quartet is an exceptional group of musicians who have been inspired by sound expression from their very beginning (1995) . The vivid and colourful combination withstringed instruments has brought to Poland a new and unprecedented quality of music.
La Fonica Quartet is one of the first chamber music groups in Poland and its members masterly play all musical gems and modern pop hits: An evening in Wonderland Czardas, Old Vienna Music, Sentimental Musicals, Neapolitan Songs and the most beautiful Tangos such as Nuevo Tango. Which was created and popularised by Astor Piazzolla – these are included in the exceptional concerts of the group.
Excellent arrangements and a very high artistic level of all musicians guarantees and creates a unique style for the group and makes them successful among listeners and critics alike. La Fonica Quartet has been invited to important cultural events both in Poland and abroad. They have performed in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. The band takes part in charity concerts and recordings for television and radio.
La Fonica Quartet has been consecutively honoured and awarded for creativity . The members of the group were awarded The People of the Year award in 2002 and 2011 in the Culture in Piła category.
